Following over a year of preparations and more than 20  international consultations, the Commission on Global Security, Justice & Governance, a flagship project of The Hague Institute for Global Justice and The Stimson Center (Washington, D.C.), will launch its Final Report on Confronting the Crisis of Global Governance from the Peace Palace in The Hague, “The City of Peace & Justice”, on 16 June 2015 (10-11 am).

The Commission’s Co-Chairs, former U.S. Secretary of State Dr. Madeleine Albright and former Nigerian Foreign Minister and UN Under-Secretary-General Political Affairs Dr. Ibrahim Gambari, will present the Commission’s chief findings and recommendations. Commissioner Jozias van Aartsen, Mayor of The Hague and former Foreign Minister of The Netherlands, will also participate in the event. The project has considered new frameworks for collective action on critical issues such as state fragility, climate governance, and the hyperconnected global economy.
